CHUTNEY LIME (Chutney citron vert)
Ideal with fish and shellfish
This lime chutney is a delightful balance of flavours: sweet, savoury, tangy with a hint of chilli pepper to spice up the whole mix. The limes and spices are all elected and prepared by hand to bring you this high-quality chutney.
Recommended use:
in cookery, it is great with fish, crustaceans and in the sauces that go with them.
Recipe idea: Shrimp ceviche with lime chutney
Shell 12 shrimps, slice down the middle, lengthwise. Marinate the shrimps for 2 hours in the lemon juice with 2 teaspoons of lime chutney. Lightly drain the shrimp and drizzle with hazelnut or olive oil. Serve this ceviche with a sliced, seasoned avocado, together with the lime chutney. Sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds.
